Transportation

The official point of entry for the European Universities Combat Sports Championships 2026 is Tirana International Airport "Nënë Tereza".

The Organising Committee will provide transportation for accredited participants, officials and EUSA representatives between Tirana International Airport and the official accommodation area at Qyteti Studenti, according to the official arrival and departure days of each sport.

Participants are kindly requested to submit their travel details through the official registration system within the required deadline, in order for the Organising Committee to prepare the airport transfer schedule.

On 12 September 2026, the Organising Committee will manage a combined transport operation, as this is both the official departure day for Taekwondo & Karate and the official arrival day for Judo & Kickboxing.

A 90-minute rotation system will be implemented between Qyteti Studenti and Tirana International Airport. Buses will depart from Qyteti Studenti towards the airport, drop off departing delegations, and return from the airport with arriving delegations.

Delegations should be prepared for possible waiting times, as transfers will be grouped according to flight schedules and operational needs.

The Organising Committee will provide dedicated transport for referees between the accommodation area and the sports facilities, in accordance with the official tournament schedule.

VIP guests will be transported from the airport in executive cars. During the Championships, VIPs may order transport at any official info desk.

Transportation is intended only for official EUC 2026 locations.

Important information

  • Transportation will be provided only for accredited participants, officials and EUSA representatives registered in the official event system.
  • The Organising Committee will not organise or cover transportation from other airports, cities, private addresses or non-official locations.
  • Participants arriving before or after the official arrival days, or departing outside the official departure days, are responsible for arranging and covering their own transportation.
  • Further practical details, including meeting points at the airport and at Qyteti Studenti, will be communicated to delegations closer to the event.
