Final Registration Call for EUC Combat Sports Tirana 2026

The Organising Committee of the European Universities Championship Combat Sports Tirana 2026 is pleased to announce that registration for the Championship has been extended.
Universities and student-athletes may still register for all four sports included in the event.

Taekwondo awarded G1 status
The Taekwondo competition has officially received G1 ranking status from World Taekwondo.
This recognition further strengthens the international significance of the Championship and provides participating athletes with the opportunity to earn World Taekwondo Ranking points.
Event dates & 2+2 competition format
The European Universities Championship Combat Sports will take place in Tirana, Albania, from 8 to 16 September 2026, bringing together university athletes from across Europe for high-level competition, cultural exchange and an unforgettable university sports experience.
Transition day: 12 September — combined transfer operation between the two competition blocks.

How to register
Universities are encouraged to complete their registrations primarily through their respective National University Sports Associations before the final deadline.
The Organising Committee, together with the Albanian University Sport Federation (FSHSU) and the European University Sports Association (EUSA), looks forward to welcoming the European university combat sports community to Tirana.
